WBSG Practice working group

Aim of the working group

To effectively conserve wild bees, guidance is needed regarding specific and effective habitat management and restoration practices across all landscape types, including: farms, rangelands, forests, other natural areas, utility rights of way, roadsides, towns, and cities. For some regions and landscape types, this guidance already exists but is usually targeted at local or national scales.

The aim is therefore to collate existing regional, landscape-specific, and species-specific best practice guides that inform wild bee conservation, as well as to evaluate gaps and make recommendations regarding best practice guides that need to be created or adapted to new regions or landscapes.
